DENISE WARREN

My love for fitness stemmed back many years ago when Rhythmic Gymnastics entered my life. For 15 of those years, I dedicated myself to the endless hours of training and competed as a Provincial athlete and then went on to Coaching. I have been fortunate enough to have developed these skills at an early age and have truly found my passion for fitness in life.

 

Perfectly Fit was established in 2012 but the journey didn’t begin there. I registered for my first bootcamp session in 2008 and instantly fell in love with the ladies only group setting and felt myself getting stronger and more confident in the matter of a few weeks. In 2009, I knew that I wanted to change my life, in the way that I could have an influence on other women's health and fitness journeys, just like my trainers and biggest inspirations had given me. I started taking health and fitness courses and my list of certifications began. I started teaching in 2011 and the rest is history. Perfectly Fit has brought so much happiness to my life and it's all because of the wonderful group of women who inspire me on a daily basis. 

Outside of being a trainer, you will most likely catch me out in the fresh air reading a book, boating, fishing, camping, or simply relaxing. I love spontaneity, sunsets, cooking, my family, my husband, beaches and quality time at home. I like change and the challenge that comes along with it.  But most importantly, I love the rewarding feeling and the inspiration that my clients give me in becoming the best trainer that I can be.

MORENA PIZZO

My passion for health and fitness came to me when I realized how much I loved sports...my favourite class in school was gym! I started playing soccer at the age of 4, along with swimming, ball hockey, ice hockey and continued with soccer through high-school and played 3 years for the Algonquin College Women’s Soccer Team. Still to this day, I make time for soccer. Knowing how much I loved sports and learning from coaches and gym teachers the importance of extra curricular activity throughout the years, this lead me to pursue my career in health, wellness and fitness.

 

In 2013, I received my CSEP (Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology) Personal Training Certification and my Diploma in Fitness & Health Promotion from Algonquin College.  Since then, I have been taking health and fitness classes, workshops, events, seminars to gain the fundamentals and knowledge of fitness. With fitness trends that come and go there is always so much more to learn which keeps me on my toes. From running circuit training for high-school athletes, to personal training one on one, and teaching in group settings, I have found my comfort in motivating others. Good vibes of working out is something I want to share with everyone. Helping an individual reach their personal goals in fitness to me is the greatest reward.

 

Outside of being a trainer, you will most likely catch me spending time with my family and friends, playing soccer, working on my own personal fitness goals, listening to music, dancing, learning new delicious recipes, scrapbooking, watching documentaries, scary movies and comedy, planning weekend activities and or mini getaways, and day dreaming of being on a beach with a corona in hand overlooking the ocean, hearing the noise of the waves.
